Private art Lesson - Cheeseboard Pouring

Service Description

Private lessons offer you the opportunity to have the studio and teacher to yourself. Either individual or group bookings class is for 1 x 2 hour session to pour boards plus 1x 2 hour session to resin and 1x 1 hour session to sand, finish with food grade wax to protect. Beginners (over several sessions) Learn the basics of: • Workplace / preparation • Acrylic paints for pouring • Additives to achieve flow / cells • Mixing ratios • More about cell formation • Opacity of paints and effects • Specific pouring techniques covered • Curing time • Labelling / gifting / selling Advanced Pourers: We have over thirty pouring techniques that we can teach you over several sessions. Beginners (over several sessions) Learn : • Workplace / preparation • Resins / Paints, dyes, inks, pigments, mica powders for pouring • Additives to achieve flow / cells • Mixing ratios • More about cell formation • Use of Isopropyl Alcohol • Opacity of paints, dyes, inks, pigments and their effects • Specific pouring techniques covered in this workshop • Curing time Advanced Pourers all of the above: Please note: Cheeseboards to be poured provided by us, Please do not bring your own boards Paints, dyes, inks, pigments, mica powders additives to achieve flow / cells and resin provided by us for two completed pieces per class. If booking a group, please book in one person and a group booking will be set up so individuals can pay.
